Western oklahoma's only warbird fly-in



Take a flight back in time and see some of the most historic aircraft ever built during the Second-Annual Wings Over Weatherford event at the Stafford Air & Space Museum on September 15th! This special event will feature historical bombers and biplanes where the public will have the opportunity to purchase rides, meet the pilots, and take tours of select aircraft. There will be several food trucks and lots of activities for all ages! 

It will be an unforgettable day of family friendly fun, food, and flying! Don't miss it!


You can purchase tickets here before the event and enjoy skipping the long line to enter the event! 

Admission is only $5.00 for adults, FREE for children 12 & under, and FREE for museum members. Museum admission is included with event ticket purchase. 

Pre-sale tickets are non-refundable.

Shuttles will be available at Parking #2 (Pinnergy) & Parking #3 (Life Fellowship) locations starting at 9:30am – 4:00pm.

You can book airplane rides on the day of the event with each aircraft below.

Rides are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. 


Fairchild PT-19

Rides - $140 (approx. 25 minutes)

Primary trainer for the US Army Air Corps in the early 1940s

Type of trainer used extensively at Cimarron and El Reno fields

Rides - $250 (approx. 20-25 minutes)


C-45 Aircraft

Rides - $135 in front, $100 in back

Light transport, light bomber, aircrew trainer for bombing, navigation and gunnery, photo-reconnaissance, and "mother ship" for target drones

In World War II, over 90% of USAAF bombardiers and navigators trained in these aircraft
